Amira Marion, originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan, pursued her education at Parsons School of Design in New York and Paris. After gaining experience with John Patrick Organic and designing accessories for Madewell 1937, she returned to Paris to refine her skills and begin research that would eventually lead to the creation of ARCHIVE NEW YORK. The inspiration for ARCHIVE NEW YORK was rooted in Marion's childhood experiences, particularly from a memorable family trip in 1977. During this journey, her parents were captivated by the beauty of Lake Atitlán in Guatemala and decided to settle in the indigenous village of Santa Catarina Palopó for the summer. This immersion in Guatemalan textiles left a lasting impression on Marion. Decades later, Marion’s passion for textiles led her back to Guatemala to explore traditional weaving techniques and motifs. This research laid the foundation for ARCHIVE NEW YORK. The brand focuses on sourcing rare antique fabrics from areas where traditional weaving practices are fading, collaborating with local artisans to revive these designs. ARCHIVE NEW YORK is committed to preserving Mayan culture and heritage through meticulous craftsmanship and adherence to Fair Trade principles.

Consciously is pleased to offer free shipping on all orders. We currently only ship within the United States. It takes us between 1-3 business days of receiving the order to process it, depending on the order size.

You should receive your order within 7-10 business days, however, please note that there may be shipping delays due to COVID-19. You may return or exchange full-priced products purchased on wearconsciously.co within 14 days of receipt of your order. Products not returned within 7 days of receiving a return label will not be accepted.

The product must be in its original and unused condition with original hang tags attached and hygiene stickers still affixed to the garment. For health and safety reasons, if the hygiene label is removed or not properly attached, we will not be able to accept the return or exchange. Underwear cannot be returned or exchanged.
