Mon Coeur was born from the kind of question only a new parent can ask with full sincerity, "Why can't kids' clothes actually care?" Founded by Louise Ulukaya, a New York and France native, the brand came to life in 2018 after her son was born and she decided that the most precious humans on the planet deserved better than clothes that cause harm. After years of research and relentless tinkering, she created an entirely new category of children's clothing where the craftsmanship is European and the ethos is global. Every Mon Coeur piece is responsibly produced in Portugal using materials sourced across France, Italy, Spain, and Portugal, limiting emissions without sacrificing quality. Their innovations go further; fabrics made from recycled marine litter through the SEAQUAL Initiative, turning ocean waste into premium, durable fibers. And because caring for the future means more than what goes into a garment, Mon Coeur commits 1% of sales to environmental causes through 1% for the Planet, partners with the Billion Oyster Project to restore New York Harbor, and donates clothing to families in need through Little Essentials.
