HYER GOODS
About the brand
Dana Cohen, the founder and CEO at HYER GOODS, spent over a decade working in corporate fashion and witnessed fabrics get ordered and wasted. She grew passionate about waste and finding a better way to design, and so HYER GOODS was born. HYER GOODS is a brand that offers accessories made of leather and fabric sourced from deadstock materials and factory scraps. By redirecting high quality material waste away from landfills and creating beautiful pieces designed to last for generations, HYER GOODS is able to help eliminate the massive energy footprint needed to cultivate land, livestock, crops, and fertilizers, while simultaneously reducing the amount of waste being sent to landfill. Their products are hand crafted at a SEDEX-compliant, female owned factory in India, shipped in plastic-free recyclable and biodegradable mailers, and they pledge to donate 1% of net sales every month to support organizations which foster the physical and mental well being of people in need.
