It all started on a humanitarian trip to Bali, Indonesia in 2008 when Suzanne, the founder of Village Thrive, was inspired to partner with local artisans to create modern home goods using their traditional crafts which in turn provides sustainable income. Village Thrive is a way to share the natural beauty of Indonesia and its people with you. The brand uses natural materials for their products such as organic cotton, rattan, bamboo, straw, wood, clay, and leather. Balinese artisan culture works in collectives of people, usually entire villages, who share the same traditional skills. Village Thrive’s artisans work from the safety and comfort of their homes.
